I HAVE A DOUBLE YAY!

Yay 1: Ok. Tonight I went to a Halloween party with a costume contest out at EB games nearby. It was great. I go in and I look around (without costume at first) and I saw a bunch of other guys in costume so I went back to my car and put on my costume there in the parking lot. My costume this year was Vincent Valentine. Yes, from Final Fantasy 7: Dirge of Cerberus/Advent Children. The moment I walked into the door I allready got cheers for the costume. And so I stuck around, we played some games based off of WHo's Line Is It Anyway and lasted a while in the questions one. It was a blast, and at the end they gave out some prizes. The prize for best costume is a copy of Final Fantasy 12 when it gets released on halloween night. And I won that prize. YAY! Anywise, pictures to follow of my costume, all made by my own hands.

And yay 2 is easy: CARDNALS WON THE WORLD SERIES!

Now. What's wrong with this picture? If you guessed that I have two overdraft charges for ONE overdraft, you guessed correctly. You win nada. So I went to the bank and asked WHY, after I had a check of 75 dollars clear, dropping me to 5.47, and ten blizzard and a overdraft charge on the same day, and then an overdraft charge and deposit the next day, and the reason they gave me was thus : "The item for 15 dollars was still pending when the check of 75 dollars cleared. That's what the first overdraft is for, because the check caused your account to go into negative while Blizzard was still pending, and Blizzard's the one that got the second overdraft charge"

Sounds like a crock of shit to me. And so now I am looking for a new bank or a credit union to use instead of this bank. If you use the bank: US BANK, watch out for shit like this, because it's the one I'm currently at and going to drop like a rock once I find a better one. They claim 5 star service, but I don't believe I'm getting such service if I'm getting hit like that, and if they ask why i'm dropping them, i'll tell them that I'm paying overdraft charges of 34 dollars each, which is more than what I was paying at this time LAST year, AND the overdraft charge excuse was pure BULLSHIT.

www.firstcommunity.com is a credit union that was suggested to me by my best friend. He uses it and says it's pretty good, so I'll at least take a look. If you know of other banks to look at or avoid, let me know.

Dumb supervisors and good movies

Yea, needless to say my supervisor's being a fucking bitch yet again. This time she told us we're not allowed to take our breaks in the floor care room anymore because she wants to make sure we weren't taking unauthorized breaks. I mean, I can see her reasoning, but the floor care room is OUR room. For us to store all our equipment, supplies and to take our breaks in. I swear the floor care shift has been going downhill ever since she started on midnights. I'm about ready to walk out on her and would have done it if I didn't need the money or insurance.

In other news, went to see Clerks 2. Was a great movie and DEFINATELY worth seeing, but you'd better watch the first Clerks movie before you do so or you'll be lost. Kinda. And it's sad really. I look at my life and I can actually relate to Dante. Seems my life's in the shitter and there's no way out. I mean I'll be starting my 30's in a few more years and look at me. But what can I do. Ah well.

Anyways gotta get going to my D&D game today. Hope it goes well.

money troubles and work idiots

Ok. I have a few new things this week. ONe, i'm depressed about all the bills from when i was in the hospital a while back. I guess that's normal but I was put in the hospital for two to three days due to an ulcer, and now it's biting my tail. Here's a rundown of what I owe:

Surgical Pathology Exam : $145
Special Stain Group I (whatever the hell THAT is) : $40
Both together : $185, minus the $148 that my insurance leaves me to pay $37

That one's not so bad. Not too certain what either of them are, but ah well.

ABD Complete INCL Decub &/OR : $51
Chest 2 Views : $47
Together : $98, minuse the $78.40 that my insurance took care of leaves me owing $19.60

Again. Not so bad. Have no idea what the first one is, and the chest one are X-rays. Just got that one today actually.

Next. A physician's bill : $485 for just plain going to the ER for the pain from the ulcer.

It sucks, but I still need to have my insurance info for them I guess so they can take care of some of that. I'll still have to pay a bit of it of course, but I'll just photocopy my insurance card and send that to them. That should work fine for thier purposes.

Now the last one, the major one

Minus my insurance $740.80

Looking at it all, i am VERY glad I have insurance. And on top of that, i have two overdue bills now, one my student loans and the other walmart, which oth i'll pay when I get the new bills in another week or two. I'll worry about my medical for this week.

And now for the thing about work, yea. I hate my supervisor. At least one of them. One day all of a sudden my throat was hurting very badly and I don't know why and the supervisor noticed it because I couldn't talk and it was painful and hard for me to swallow anything. And I told her that. It went away after a few hours. But later that day she said that I might be sick all the time because I'm not eating right, and then she proceeded to ask me what I ate before coming in. So I told her what I ate, but I should've told her that it's none of her damn business. She says she never sees me eat while i'm at work. Now a few things about me not eating at work.

1. They pull the regular food line before we even come in at 1 in the morning.
2. They do that and they have some leftover food that they toss on a plate and microwave. Not very many people eat that to begin with, including me.
3. NOBODY eats the midnight cook's food. Period. I wouldn't mind a hamburger, but I actually one one that's FRESH, DONE ALL THE WAY THROUGH, and on a bun that's not HARD AS A ROCK. Plus one of the rumors flying around about her is that she never washes her hands, so as I said. I don't eat her food.
4. I don't take my breaks in the employee break room. Ever since I got on Floor Care, I've always had my breaks IN the floor care room. Down there it's quiet, and not as hot.

Now some of the things that irk me about my supervisor is that she was put on midnights. And she is ignorant as all hell. I had to explain to her that unlike her, our day starts on 1 am THAT DAY. NOT the day after. And then she continually asks us, day by day, who's here. We tell her, but it's not our job to keep track of who's here and who's off and who called off, it's her's. And then today at about 4:30 or so, she came into our floor care room to ask what we were doing. We take out half hour break at 4 and we're usually only in there for about 40-50 minutes since after our breaks we have to take out more equipment to clean the floors with. Usually carpet cleaning stuff for when the boat closes (i work in a casino)
I'm not sure how much longer I can deal with her.

And then in our monthly newsletter they put in the break rooms I read this: "The Eagle-Eye Program." Basically what the program is, is that they give an extra $250 to an employee who can recognize a person that has been banned from stepping foot into our casino, whether by the Gaming Board and Security, or whether they purposely ban themselves (Some people do that once they realize they have a gambling problem.)
Now the thing that gets me about the program is this: WHO THOUGHT THIS IDEA UP!!! It's fucking useless. The ONLY people who WOULD be able to do this is mainly the Security guards and Surveilance, but that's thier job in the first place! How the hell are the rest of us going to know who's banned and who's not unless they put pictures of them up on the bulliten board in the hallway somewhere or not!

Ah well... i guess that's it for today. Not really sure if anybody is reading my LJ anymore or not. Makes it hard when I don't see comments come in after my posts, and I love it when people comment my journal no matter who they are (except for a couple of fucking whores from back in april, you know who they are).

Storms

Hi all. Sorry I haven't been on in a while. We got hit by a VERY bad storm here in St Louis. We lost power untill later today ever since Thursday morning when the storm hit, and we've been officially declaired a disaster area! hehe. But we survived, and I got some pictures of my cell phone of the various storm damage that happened around town I'll share once I upload them. :) I should be a professional photographer since I love to take pictures.
Anyways things should be back to normal other than normal cleanup now. Which means on my next day off, i'm spending the day up on the roof. Talk to you all later.

not a good day for me...

Yea. here I am again, after a while. Today wasn't a real great day, both at work and when I got home a few minutes ago.

At work someone took one of our cleaning machines and we didn't know who untill near the end of our shift, and the other one we used was acting up yet again. And on top of that the supervisor kept breathing down our necks about everything, AND untill thursday, there's only going to be one of us per shift. And lucky me, I get four days alone. Coudl be good, could be bad. Dunno yet.

ANYWAYS the main thing:

I come home and see Dad outside on his cell phone. He told me mom wants to talk to me. Ok. Fine. I go in, talk to mom. TUrns out that mom and dad are going to plan on splitting up. Mom won't leave the area with my brother and sister about to start school, which means i'm staying where I am for at least a year. After that, I don't know. Either way, i'm going to go with mom wherever it is she goes since she'll need me to help with my brother and sister. That's a given. And I'm thinking about giving her my check book and ATM card so I won't spend any extra money that I don't have, so I can possibly get my bills paid off. Let her run my finances for a little while and only give me like, 75 to do what I want with.

Either way, before we go I want to get my bills paid off and get some new furniture for my room. Like a new desk, tv, and maybe a computer. All that stuff I can put on layaway, no problem.

But right now i'm all depressed, upset, and pissed off about it because I don't want to leave the area ever, since I have a halfway decent job and some friends I do things with every other week. Once I do leave, i'll have to find a whole new job, a whole new set of friends, and all that other bs. But the way it looks, it's not good. Mom tried what she can to make dad happy, but according to him, ever since he left the military he's been unhappy. And mom knows I would take him out if she told me. All in all, i have some planning to do, and need to go through all my stuff and get rid of the junk I don't need or have use for and all that. Liuke some of my models that are falling apart, the star wars toys that I'm sure have tones of dust and webs and all that other stuff on them. Maybe I can sell it all and help get myself more money to get myself out of debt yet.

i hate hospitals...

yea.... i spent the past three days stuck in the hospital. Saturday morning because I was having some serious pain in the spot between my chest and stomach, so I went to the ER to have it looked at. Spent half the day in there before they decided that they wanted to hospitalize me. And it was not a pleasant experience. While in the ER I got x-rays as usual, and I mentioned that my tailhole was bleeding slightly so he did a test then too. And a while after that was my first HIGHLY unpleasant experience. The nurses needed to draw several vials of blood to take to the lab. And so what's difficult about that you ask? They couldn't get the needle into a damn vein to get the blood with! They stabbed me with the damn needles in like five different places on my arms. And after they got the blood they need after about an hour, and get an IV going, then came my second unpleasant experience. Having a small tube, shoved up my nose, down my throat, and into my stomach, just so they can see if I had any internal bleeding. That was painful, annoying, gross, and a plain strange experience I never want to relive. And so they tell me I need to stay the night so I can see a gastro-intestinal doctor for a test. Ok. Fine. But I went a full day and a half with NO FOOD OR WATER!

In the morning they wheeled me down to the GI place, and before they told me what they wanted to do, which was shove another tube with a light and camera down into my throat and down into my stomach and parts beyond. They sprayed the back of my throat with something to numb it, and then they placed into my mouth some strange thing that I can only discribe as a fetish type thing. I know it's to prevent me from biting the camera line, but that's what it seemed like. It strapped onto my head, kept my mouth open, and had a hole for the tube to go into my throat. And they gave me a shot, through my IV, to knock me out. I must say it worked because I remember nothing. When I woke up, I finally got some food. Some broth, jello, a popsicle, and tea. oh joy, but hey. it's food. Halfway through the day, they gave me a jug of some kind of juice that was supposed to make me go to the bathroom more. I had to drink the whole thing before the next morning for another test. I eventually choked it down. It was slightly slimy, gross, and on top of that it was pineapple flavored, which anything pineapple flavored tastes horrible. But I still managed to drink it, and got some food, basically same thing I had for breakfast and went to sleep. Woke up, told the nurse I was hurting and she gave me a shot and said i can either take it in my rear, or in my arm, but that it hurt more in the arm. The first night I had one, but she gave me a shot of it in the rear. Having the needle poke me there hurt for a minute, but otherwise was ok. This time I said my arm. Didn't feel the needle, but feeling the medicine inject into me hurt like hell.

And then I went for the second test. Same people there, they gave me the sedative, I was knocked out. This time for the test, I had the camera go up into my tailhole and beyond, which is why they had me drink that laxative-juice. And then I woke up a few hours late and they gave me the results.

The reason i'm hurting is because I have an ulcer, and it'll go away after a while, at least I hope it does. Now the bleeding, it was just a hemerroid, a small one I guess, but no big deal. THey gave me some perscriptions, and I need to make appointments soon so I can go and get myself checked out in a week or two. My arm's still sore and I still hurt from the ulcer, but now I have more medicine to use.

Anyways, i'm just happy I'm home. just wish I didn't have these problems.

the place I work at sucks hard

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I just haven't really had anything interesting to put here untill now so here goes.

Yesterday morning the power on the landing went out. THe cause: water leaking into the main electrical breaker room. The source: they thought it was us on floor care.

THey say that the water came from the buffet when we deck scrubbed the floor like we do every week. But we put strong smelling and effective chemicals on the floor to scrub it in with the black stripper/scrubbing pads since it actually gets in and cleans the grout a little bit better. Afterwards we run our normal scrubber which squeegees and sucks up the water as it goes. We told them we do this every week and that the water stain on the carpet in front of the breaker room door is WAY too big to be anything that we are able to do.

And today was pretty fun I guess. The coast guard came and three times in the course of two hours we had our annual emergency evacuation drill. It was ok. And then at the end of the day, the supervisor said that we didn't do anything for two hours. Well no fucking duh woman, we had to do that damn drill, just like EVERYONE else. It was interesting as they also had volunteers to act out different people. Like accidents that could occur during evacuation, people taking other people's money, various medical conditions, drunk, and even terror threat during the thing. And like most drills the local emergency crews took part too. Fire, police, coast guard, ambulance, and homeland security. The homeland security squad was interesting since they had the M4A1 rifles. It's quite understandable too.

And I get home and I get a letter from the HR office at work. Two weeks ago I put in an application for Slot Tech. Basically, the letter says "your not good enough." Now this is the 5th time I put in for something that I can do and do well. I put in for Deckhand once but decided not to again since the hours suck. I put in for scheduler several times and I put in for slot tech, and each time I got the same damned letter. I'm getting tired of this job. I need to find a new one somewhere, ANYWHERE, that will ACTUALLY let me advance SOMEHOW! Even if I go and move in with one of my close friends I'll at least try for it.

Oh. Last week I FINALLY managed to get me a season pass to Six Flags and went. I loved it. I went on just about every ride at least once. One coaster I couldn't go on because it was down for the day, but I still had fun. Would've been more fun with a friend. And of course I'm willing to take my friends with me, but they have to buy thier own tickets, bring thier own money for food and whatnot. The only thing I ask is for 5-10 bucks for parking and gas. THat's it. But it was fun going alone too. I went on the Superman Tower of Power that just opened this year. I'm never goin on that again. Basically your hauled 250 feet up into the air while strapped into a seat with three other people (six total groupings like this surround the tower) and they drop you about 200 feet before you even start slowing down. I wanted to yell out since it was somewhat fun, but I couldn't. I did get a little sunburned but that's ok.

On the downside, I need to go see a doctor. Just some bleeding happening in a place that it's not supposed to. (not the front side either) and I just want to go make sure it's nothing serious.

Well. That's all for now. I guess on my day off later this week I'll go to the employment office and start searching again. I'm getting tired of all the bullshit out where I work currently.

Actually somewhat enjoy my job, hate the people

Yea. Tonight at work it was actually ok. I had the cool midnight supervisor, the awesome morning supervisor (both 2 our of 4 supervisors I DO like and get along great with out of 7 of them). Me and the person I was with, since it was only us, had a good night. I helped her with the floors in the break room like me and her always do, took us about an hour as opposed to the two hours that it takes us when we're alone on it. Then we split up. I ran the bonnet buffer (or just the buffer) on the carpet in the music room, took me about two, maybe three hours. Enjoyed a good hour long break, then we went to clean some carpet around the craps tables. ANd the carpet was BLACK. We had to use our heaviest cleaner, Spitfire, or the red stuff, on it to get the stains out. Of course I dilluted it as 1 part water and 1 part spitfire. Next time we use it on the carpet I'm going to dillute it further to 3 part water and 1 part spitfire, as it's strong. Anyways, it got the stains up. The down side is that we technically aren't supposed to use the stuff on the carpets over on the boat since they're dry clean only. aka we spray stuff on them, sprinkle powder into it, brush the powder in, and vacuum the powder up. Which we all say it don't do jack shit. But two of the supervisors don't care what we use as long as the carpets get cleaned, so from now on when I do the carpets, i'm spraying that spitfire solution first before scrubbing in the powder and vacuuming it up.

Anyways it was a good night. We kept busy, took two good LONG breaks, and at the end of the day, the morning supervisor said that one of the other supervisors said that one of the other people on Floor Care with me, said that me and the woman I worked with tonight, never do anything.

That pissed us off. Our supervisor, of course, defended us and even told them to look and compare the lists of stuff we do. Me and her actually do quite a bit of work while we're there together. The thing is, we don't know if the other person said that or if it's another supervisor starting shit with us, which either way it pisses us off and if they try and do anything about it against us, we'll take it to HR and the union.

But here's the thing. The OTHER two people on floorcare with use, THEY are the ones that don't do anything.
On sunday they spent ALL day redoing the wax in ONE room of the buffet. The room was only a 10 foot by 10 foot square room, and they had it blocked off. I went up there twice in one hour, and saw them sleeping on the fucking chairs, not doing anything else.

One of them, his last day is another week and a half away. The other, I dunno.

Anyways, other than that one fact it was a pretty good day. now to look at computer parts online that I'll eventually order for construction of a new gaming computer. Let me know suggestions if you could.

Ok. So it's been a while since I wrote last so here's an update of what's going on.

Work's actually been ok, although starting yesterday we started having the ONE supervisor that NOBODY likes working the midnight shift. And she was forced to go to that shift because too many people have been complaining against her. And a few others are allready considering to complain against her on her new shift.

On top of that, she's ignorant as all hell. Today at about 7:30 she came to see me and the person working with me at the time. She asked us if we got a stain out of a patch of carpet on a set of stairs that we had just finished and we said yes. Then she wanted to know what we did. Me and the person I was with at the time were working together all that night, and most of the time me and her work together anyways so we can actually get things done faster. But we told her, the four of us (four of us on floor care that night) scrubbed the kitchen floor. While we were getting our cleaner and supplies ready, the other two were running a floor scrubber in the break room. Ok. Fine. AFTER that we had to explain to her several times, that after the kitchen me and my partner that night were together the whole day. After the kitchen, we spent three hours working on a bit of carpet just outside the kitchen to try and get some caked on grease out of it. Afterwards we went to do the stairs on the boat, which even with two of us it takes a good hour and a h alf to do. And meanwhile, one of the others was running the scrubber in the banquet bar area and landing and then buffed the wood floors in the steakhouse and buffet. We didn't know where the fourth person was and we told her that like four times.

on our last break at 8, we were told that at 6, the supervisor kept going back and fourth to the one person to try and find out where we were, and she told her like 5 times we were on the stairs of the boat.

people can be so stupid.

NOW FOR LIFE AT HOME

Things are steadily getting worse at home between my parents. Mom talked to me a few days ago that her and dad might be splitting up, which I hate to see happen but I don't really have a say in the matter. She asked me who I wanted to go with. I had like three choices, none of them good. 1: go with dad. 2: try and live on my own. 3: go with mom.

I told mom that I'd go with her wherever she goes, because I'll have to help her with my little brother and sister. I'm not all too sure what mom would do without me. Either way it's not good.

In otherwords, there's a high probability that I'll end up having to move somewhere. Where? I don't know, and I'm not all too sure when either but if this does happen, she wants it done by the end of the summer so my brother and sister can get back into school.

Yesterday mom was looking at houses here in the area. She'd hate to leave the area because of my brother and sister's friends, and I don't want to leave the area because of my friends and my job.

But on the other hand, she also wants to go down to Durant Oklahoma. And I can see why too. She has her family that lives down there. Granted my brother and sister will have to make new friends and such, but at least the house she found is fairly inexpensive. But if I do move down there with her, it means I'll have to try and find a good job somewhere almost as soon as I can. But the thing is, there's casinos down there, but they're all those indian casinos, but hell. I'm willing to try. The nearest cities are Dallas about 100 miles due south and Oklahoma City northwest. either that or it's tulsa. Anyways, i'm not sure if I'd be able to find people that do some of the things I enjoy doing too. Such as D&D since I'm not sure if they have a game shop like that, even though they do have a Gamestop for my computer/console games.

But either way I'll go with mom. If I do make a major move instead of having a short one in this general area, i'll be sure to let everyone know what's happening.

Well. I did my yearly tribute to my mother today, and happy Mother's Day to all out there too. This year I got a card and signed it with my name, my brother's and sister's names, and my niece's and nephew's name. I also gave her a box of candy and 26 roses. And before you ask (and I know you will) "Why 26?" the answer is pretty simple. I'm 26 years old.

I'm also worried about a close friend of mine (you know who you are). From what I was told, since she's the only one qualified to close, she's winding up to pull several 14 hour days in a row in the next few days untill they can get people in and trained to close the store she works at. I tried looking into the department of labor about any requirements for days off but I can't find anything either in Kentucky or the Federal one. And on top of that they won't promote her to a shift leader/supervisor because she's not a crew trainer, and yet she's the only crew member that's qualified to close. So from what I understand, the chain of command is newbie, crew, trainer, manager, store manager, store owner. And from what I was just told, she's been trying to become a crew trainer for months, but the store mnager won't promote her for some reason. And yet the shift managers reccomended her and even asked the store's owner to promote her but the owner told her to bug the store manager. Either way, I'm sure something's not right in that store and I'd say look into it farther hun. You know I love ya, and if you have an office for the Dept of Labor, no harm into calling them and asking to be sure.

Anyways i'm gonna get off to bed before I fall asleep here at the keyboard. Lates all.

yet another uneventful day at work. Although tonight all day I had one of the three pain in the ass supervisors that I don't really like working with. Every time she called us over the radio and wanted us to do something that needed to be done, she kept using MY name, unlike some of the others who just plain call for Floor Care, as if she expected me to tke care of everything. I think she's singling me out for some reason. Ah well. Gotta keep the job, at least for a while.

ANYWAYS

I'm worried about my dog Angel. There's something wrong with one of her eyes and it just started recently. She keeps it closed for the most part and keeps pawing at it as if something about it is bothering her. I'd like to take her to the vet but I can't really afford to. And my grandmother told us that if we have some eye drops here at the house, to use a little bit of it on her, but i'm not sure that would work. I don't even know what would bother her eye so much, as it could be any number of reasons.

Not sure what I should do, if anything. If anyone has an idea, let me know.

Also I'm thinking of putting my past problems in a story, kinda write out what's happened to me so far this year in a story. D&D type of story of course. And of course I'd include those that are close to me. *hugs* you know who you are. And I may need help as well eventually.

Work: went ok I guess. Some of my work is cut down now they actually have a full staff of barbacks (3 fulltime and 1 part time)

Home: Cleaned up my room, got a little more desk space since I took my broken computer off of it and using my laptop for all my chatting. Will get IRC back up and running on it in a few minutes once I get done with this.

Revenge?: WHILE cleaning up my room I came across two or three greeting cards from that damn, stupid, slutty, whore and dicrace to griffons, Raistlin. IF anyone wants to see them. (i don't give a rats ass who sees the address she used on one) then let me know here and I'll scan and put them up on a future post. Either way I'll burn them and get pictures of that too and share those.

Computer: trying to figure out a small quest type thing in second-life. Found some of my old artwork from several years back I want to scan and upload, but still need to find a hosting site.

Other life: upsetting. I come home from work to find out that my grandfather died this morning. At least I got to see him one more time before it happened.

Heya everyone. I'm home! I'm back for action, i'm.... uhmm.... yea. ANYWAYS,

I did get to see Grampa. As well as my twin niece and nephew for the first time, some family members I haven't met yet and one that I would rather have not met at all. GOD I was about ready to smack her alongside her head and tell her to bug off, but I chose not to since it was Grandma's house and I won't do that in there. Anywhere else and she started pulling her bossy shit and I would have. And on top of that she acts like she knows everything about children and babies when she has had NONE OF HER OWN! I know enough about children and babies because of my littlest brother and sister, all of my younger cousins on the other side of the family, and my nieces and nephew. And even then, you still don't know everything about them, and you NEVER WILL.

Anyways my allergies went nuts down there, but they were manageable. And on top of that I really didn't sleep all that well down there. I don't know why but I have never been able to sleep well in that house at all. But it doesn't matter.

Anyways better get back to fixing this computer. I pulled a format and reinstall and I still have things to do to it.

Well. I got my emergency vacation request approved. Thankfully. And on the way home I had to grab some things so that I can pack up some stuff to leave. I don't go back untill right after I get paid, so that's one good thing. But the downside is that I still have to go down to oklahoma to see my grandfather. I particularly don't want to go because it's a long ass drive from St Louis down to Tulsa. But I haven't seen them in several years so I need to go do so. I'm trying to find a particular outfit i like to wear so that I can wear it, one of two or three really. Even though the outfit makes me look like an auto mechanic, it's still nice to wear.

I grabbed a small duffel bag and some of them space saver bag things to see if they do make a difference. I'll pack my clothes up once I wash them after figuring out what I'm taking.

I also grabbed some munchies and soda for the road, as well as several other small things. Dad wants to leave tonight, but we're not all ready to go. I still have to gather up most of the stuff I want to take and other stuff. Either way I'm taking my FF7 movie with me so I can watch it on the way down.

Anyways, yea. Today's my birthday. Big 26. But I am seriously not looking forward to this trip. Who would be in all actuality. But I'm still going to go.

Anyways, I'm going to pack up my laptop and I have AIM, Yahoo, and IRC on it. But if I can't get online at all down there at least for 10 minutes to update my LJ, I still have AIM on my cell phone and I can at least check my LJ from there, even though it'll be a pain if I should attempt to update it, if it even is possible.

Better go get my clothes run through the wash. I'll be seeing you as soon as I can.

VERY VERY depressed to day. And I'm sure that Raist and Oreana are still reading this, even though I told them to back off of it since I'm letting it drop and they need to as well. Anyways, if you ARE reading this Raist and Oreana, FUCK OFF BITCHES! I'M NOT DEPRESSED ABOUT YOU TWO DAMN WHORES THIS TIME! IT'S BECAUSE OF MY GRANDFATHER!!! Explained below.

ANYWAYS my day went like this:

Work went like normal.
after work, that's when my crappy day started. Well. It started at the end of work before I left, like the last 10 minutes. I went to the scheduler's office and let them know I probably wasn't going to be here this thursday and all of next week. She filled out the paper but she told me I still have to call my Facility Supervisor's office. He's the one that says yes or no, but he's usually understanding. I'm just afraid of what he'll say. I mean, if refused I have a REALLY hard decision to make. Either 1: say "I'm going down there whether you approve or not" or 2: stay at home alone, as nice as it may sound, but not see my grandfather for the last time. I mentioned in my last post that he had a stroke and was getting tested for Cancer. And it turns out that he has it badly. From what I was told, his heart, lungs, and kidneys are highly infected and that he can't leave the hospital. So that pretty much says right there that he's dying.... but I have to go see him at least one more time. And say sorry if I ever was a pain in the ass towards him and help mom out against her brothers and sister, since apparently (from what I heard) they turned out to be like the trailor trash you see on COPS all day. I'm protective of my mother, and she even knows that if even my dad does something to hurt her, I WILL wail on his ass, and I don't care who he is.

But after work I had to go to the DMV to get new car tags and renew my license. Took me 15 minutes to get the tags, then waited another 45 minutes to take a 35 question written exam that's on a touch screen computer. I only missed one question. Some retarded question that's like "If a construction or road vehicle is at work and it has the flashing yellow light, what do you do" I picked "it has the right of way" but turns out that's wrong. And now that I look back on it, no they don't. The light's just a caution light. The rest of the quiz is stuff anybody would know.

Then I went to the bookstore to pick up two more books. Condemnation and Annialation. Books 3 and 4 of the War of the Spider Queen series. Damn good series. After that I'll work on the Daughter of the Drow series, even though it's not by Salvatore. Because the people who came up with all the D&D stuff also came up with the Drow, it was Salvatore that actually DEFINED what a Drow was.

After that I hit the Gamestop. Picked up my reserve of Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children. Good thing I had it reserved too. It's a two-disk special edition I got, but because I reserved it, I got a THIRD disk for free that's supposed to be a 10 dollar value I think he said. I go in there so much, the guys know me by name. hehe. I love that feeling. Anyways, i gotta try to call the supervisor again. Hopefully I'll get through to him.

Ok. Gonna do this short, as today was a t ypical monday.

Went to DMV to get my license renewed. They were closed, so I gotta do it tomorrow. While out tomorrow I need to drop off a walmart bill, pick up the middle two books in the War of the Spider Queen series, AND Final Fantasy - Advent Children. (had it on reserve since last August or somewhere around there)

On top of that, kinda feelin crummy in the tummy so going to bed soon after figuring out my new toy and birthday present to myself. Got me a new cell phone, one with AIM on it, and a camera and all kinda of nifty things. hehe.

Oh. And my birthday's on the 26th so.... yay me. hehe.
not exactly looking forward to it though. Gotta talk to some guy about the equipment at work not working right, and i don't have anything planned for it other than the movie and books.

Well. I'm happy. For a change. Dunno why, but prolly I had about.... 10 hours of being awake in the past two days so that may have had something to do with it.

Work was moderately boring, although I kept busy. had to clean all the chairs in the resteraunt. All 120 of them. As in spray some cleaner on them, spray water on them and use the extractor to extract it all.
Break was VERY boring for the half hour, Was about 1/4 of the way done. And the break room was hot. Not just hot but DAMN HOT. But there was a fairly interesting moving on and I don't know what it was. Kinda hard to describe. It had a cybernetic german shepherd and a guy that had implants to hear the dog talk. Both were cops or something. Either way, I HATE seeing parts of fairly decent movies and NOT knowing what they are.

Also at work, due to me cleaning up after the fire last week, I got another of those customer service dollars. Glad I got something for that pain in the ass thing.

Anyways I have my D&D game today at noon, aka in about an hour, so I better wrap this up. I'll update it to let ya know how it went. But for now, WIDE awake.

Well. I sent Raist a mail and HOPEFULLY she will reply to it. I'm not sure if she will ever want to be friends with me again or not untill she does, and I will ONLY accept her reply from her mail to know for sure, due to anybody can use an anonomys commenting and use anyone's name.

Also, I am considering making my LJ private, with only my friends being able to see it, that is once I figure out how to do that. But either way, i'm going to be a little down for a few days, or untill I make it private. And no Raist, you didn't cause this, me getting depressed comes off and on every now and then and has been for about two years now.

Either way, once I make my LJ viewable by friends only, I will be able to express other emotions more openly than I currently can.

Also I'm not giving up being LightFeather, but I may split into two seperate entities. One good and one evil.....

I was at work doing my job when it happened again.... thinking about her... my ex... and got depressed again.... *sighs* I don't know how I can end this. I could always end it as LightFeather and begin a whole new identity, but the majorly odd thing is.... is that I only do it at work. Thinking of her that is. Should I confront the two of them and talk to them??? Or.... try and get rid of everything that has to do with her??? Any kind of suggestion or advice woule be greatly appreciated and helpful. I would hate to end my life as LightFeather, but maybe I do need a change. I'm just not too sure anymore.

Maybe I should e-mail her.... ask her if she would still like to talk to me or if, as much as I hate to think of it, she would rather not have us talking to each other ever again.

I have a bad feeling about her new mate though. Something I can't explain, but it's there, deep inside like a stomache ache and deep in the back of my mind.

Tonight at work the fire alarms went off. This time wasn't a false alarm. There was something on a stove in the kitchen that burned while everyone that worked in the kitchen at that time was on break. But it wasn't thier fault. Turns out that something wasn't working right in the stove and they sent in the request to get it repaired like two weeks ago. Anyways the alarms went off automatically and the sprayers above the stove, grill, and fryer sprayed. I had to clean up the mess of water and grease and other stuff once Security was done in there.

coming home from work I heard a few odd things on the radio. One is that sex researchers (how do I sign up for that job) are researching something called Teledildonics. Basically using the internet to controll a viberator or similar electrical toy that's on the other end of the connection. Sounds like fun to me, but at the same time it sounds expensive.

Another thing I heard is that Elvira is looking for a successor. I don't know who she'll find but I'm sure it would be interesting.
